Adoration

Adoration Group

A Holy Hour Adoration Group meets weekly to pray before the Exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

In saying the Rosary, the Virgin Mother Mary is invoked for the various intentions of the group.Ā  Prayers include for the intentions of the Pope Francis and for vocations to religious life from families within the Parish.Ā  Time is set aside and spent on silent prayers before the Blessed Sacrament. Dependent upon the availability of the Parish Priest, the session ends with Benediction.

The group meets every Tuesday at 9am. At the end of the hour the group gathers for a cuppa and fellowship.Ā  Discussions that ensue centre mostly on religious matters and it is great to share insights into living the Word.Ā  This has even resulted in the group organising a pilgrimage to holy places and parish processions celebrating major feasts.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
